Tad Chalfant, Chief Software Architect: Tad brings 25+ years of experience in Information Technology to his position as Chief Software Architect at MagLev. During his tenure at such companies as Verizon Data Services and Chase Paymentech, Tad has been an integral part of systems design, programming, testing, implementation, performance enhancement and front line support for applications at the forefront of communications and financial technology. As an expert in both hardware and software, he has often been sent to various locations around the world (Japan, Holland, Portugal, Denmark, South Africa) as the sole representative of the company’s Information Technology department, performing not only as liaison but also implementation manager, training lead, and front line support manager.
